The Coffee County Sheriff's Office utilizes the services of Asta, a ten year old K-9 veteran. Asta is a Belgian Malinois, she is a veteran of military operations in both Afghanistan and Iraq as a trained narcotics and apprehension dog. Asta assists our corrections officers in searches, inmate control, and is a deterrent of jail contraband and escapes.
